MADE AT FLEISHER is an indoor juried art and craft market organized by Fleisher Art Memorial to celebrate the work of current Fleisher students. This indoor/outdoor market will highlight the many mediums offered at Fleisher. Shoppers can expect quality crafts and handmade goods that reflect Fleisher's offerings. This year, we’re partnering with Fleisher’s El Mercado Cultural initiative. El Mercado will take place outdoors in the parking lot, while Made at Fleisher will be held indoors in the Sanctuary. Together, these events will create a seamless flow between spaces and help attract a broader audience.
EL MERCADO CULTURAL is a grant-funded program organized by Fleisher Art Memorial to encourage the Latinx community’s participation in commerce and the arts through cultural markets. The focus is to promote multiculturalism by celebrating the heritage and the talent of Latin Americans in Philadelphia. El Mercado accomplishes this by highlighting the arts, artisanal wares and crafts through cultural preservation and exchange in markets where people connect and build relationships and customers.

Additional Notes
- This market is designed to highlight the wide range of artwork created at Fleisher—hence the name Made at Fleisher. Please keep this in mind when selecting the items you plan to sell.
- Applicants are encouraged to share social media handles and websites for promotional use.
- Please keep Fleisher’s mission in mind—making art accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means, background, or artistic experience—when pricing your work. Items priced at $75 or less tend to sell best at the market.
- While all work is welcome, paintings typically sell less frequently than other items due to factors like price and size, as this is not a traditional art fair.
- Classroom collectives are encouraged (though not required). Applying as a group can strengthen your application and provide added support. Plus we ❤️ collaborations!
- We will do our best to provide tables and chairs for all selected vendors, but availability is limited and not guaranteed.
Parking Notice
Parking will be limited, as the lot will be used for El Mercado. Please plan accordingly.
